During the arrest of four people, including a minor, the Thessaloniki police have been prosecuted in the past hours, accused of illegally transporting a total of 35 foreigners to the country.

Police officers from the Immigration Management Department of the Thessaloniki Aliens Branch have identified a van-like car on the departmental road of Rentina-Lagada in the afternoon of Saturday. The foreign driver of the vehicle, aged 17, did not stop at the signal from the police authorities, he developed a speed of escape that led him to be pursued.

The vehicle was finally immobilized and ten foreigners who were found documents justifying their legal stay in the country were identified.

Shortly thereafter, police officers on patrol identified another van-like car driving a 21-year-old foreigner traveling on Egnatia Road (Musthenius Head), violating the signals of the relevant authorities and not picking up speed.

At Vagochori, the car was immobilized, resulting in the capture of the 21-year-old driver and two escorts, a 33-year-old woman and a 29-year-old woman. Inside the vehicle, 25 foreigners were found without the necessary residence documents.
