Thirteen in the hospital of a damaged piggy bank

At least thirteen people with gastrointestinal symptoms – Salmonella has sent to the Kalamata Hospital the pigs that they ate. With the official information from the hospital, the problem is very serious because it concerns 13 recorded incidents that arrived there (especially on Monday) with diarrhea, fever and vomiting. In fact, 3 people continue to be hospitalized in the 2nd pathology clinic, and 2 siblings in pediatrics

Every two or three people who became ill and were transported to hospital were members of the same family who ate the same pork. 10 of these 13 people informed the hospital that they had bought the turkey at a specific Kalamata shop

In these cases, the Kalamata hospital informs the HCDCP and the health directorate from Messinia, which deals seriously with the case where the consumption of dangerous food has caused health problems to several people and the product comes from the same store

The service undertakes to confirm that the health problem has been caused by the particular store, and then moved the imposition procedures of the prescribed penalties.
