5. Private schools are authorized, after having been informed by the director / education officer, up to two additional days a year, at dates related to their history and school traditions or, in the case of foreign schools, which are official national or religious holidays in their country of origin.

6. On the national anniversaries of 28 October and 25 March, as well as the anniversary of 17 November, public high schools, lycées and lycées open to the public celebrate birthdays and demonstrations during school events. If this day coincides with a Saturday or a holiday, the above events take place on the Sabbath or on a holiday. The flag is celebrated on the same day as the October 28 celebrations.
