When Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady hit Rob Gronkowski for an 11-yard touchdown in the third quarter on Thursday night, they weren’t running the game as he was originally called it. Instead, they relied on Brady’s audible on the line of scrimmage.

Gronkowski said after the game that Brady was audible in the game, first calling on Gronk to block, then changing the game to tell Gronk to block and release, based on what Brady saw of the Cowboys defense.

“Tom made a great choice,” said Gronkowski. “I was actually on a route, then he checked me to block, then he checked me to block and release. He sees everything on the ground. It’s impressive. I mean the guy has been playing for about 80 years, seen every defense, seen every game. ”

Brady is actually entering his 22nd NFL season, not his 80th. But it looks like Brady could play for 80 years. He shows no sign of slowing down.
