The Guilty Gear Strive beta was originally scheduled to last until February 21. However, many players reported that they didn’t really get a chance to try the beta due to server issues. There were long periods of time that the beta wasn’t available when it was meant to be playable.
To remedy this, Arc system works announced that they will be expanding the beta version of Guilty Gear Strive to all players. This beta is now scheduled to end on February 23 at 6:59 a.m. PST.
Be aware that the Open Beta Test is only available for download until February 21 at 6:59 AM PST. If you don’t download the Guilty Gear Strive beta before that date, you won’t be able to play the Guilty Gear Strive beta on February 22 and 23.
Arc System Works also noted that the beta testing schedule is subject to change based on server resilience. More than likely, Arc System Works will be ready to extend the beta further if other issues arise.
The fighters who are currently playable in the Guilty Gear Strive beta are Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Axl Low, Potemkin, Faust, Chipp Zanuff, Millia Rage, Zato-1, Leo Whitefang, Nagoriyuki, Giovanna and Ramlethal Valentine.
That leaves only Anji Mito and the mysterious 15th fighter. Keep in mind that the final Guilty Gear Strive launch character is expected to be revealed later tonight.
Open beta test extension:
We’ve decided to extend the Guilty Gear Open Beta Test -Strive- for all participants for two days, ending February 23 at 6:59 am PST.🚨 * Please note that Open Beta Test game data is only available for download until February 21 at 6:59 AM PST.
