Halo Infinite will have a unique version of the Royal Battle, according to a Microsoft insider

While all Halo players are anxiously awaiting Infinite's demise, one of the major questions is whether 343 Industries will follow the powerful trend of the Royal Battle and include its own interpretation of the popular genre.

Brad Sims, a leading source of information on tech giants such as Microsoft, has released a video suggesting that a BR mode is becoming the long-awaited title.

Royal Battle Halo does not "tear Fortnite and Apex Legends"

According to the Sims video, Microsoft has poured a very large amount of money into the Halo Infinite budget, enough to make the Royal Battle Mode entirely plausible.

"I also hear that 343 Industries will bring the Royal Battle to the next generation Halo game," he said. "I do not know what form it will take, I hear that there will be Halo-esque."

The Battle Royale mode of Halo Infinite will be very unique and will not be "ripping off Fortnite and Apex Legends".

Sims also announced that the BR mode of Halo would be unique and would not be a copy of Fortnite and Apex Legends, both huge of the kind, as it is so late for both games.

"They are not going to just rip Fortnite and Apex Legends at this point," he said. "They do not want to replicate exactly what they're doing, but they're going to bring something similar to Halo's next multiplayer generation, we're in the early stages of development, so things can and will often change."

343 Industries Deny Royal Battle of Halo

Sims' reports go directly against what 343 Industries have argued over the past year, vehemently denying, on a number of occasions, that a royal battle mode is in preparation for Halo Infinite.

The first time, they came back in July 2018, when they announced that the title would not include a royal battle mode, and again in December, when they cleverly declared that "the only BR that interests us , that's Battle Rifle ".

However, since the BR mode reported in Halo Infinite will apparently be so unique, some people think that 343 simply do not count it as BR and are therefore insolent in their denials.

343 Industries continue to deny that Halo Infinite will have a Royal Battle Mode.

What is Halo Infinite and when is it available?

Halo Infinite is the next product of the popular Halo franchise, which has released more than a dozen games since the release of Halo: Combat Evolved in 2001.

343 confirmed that it will be a direct sequel to Halo 5: Guardians, released in 2015, and described as a "spiritual restart" for the franchise.

The official release date of Halo Infinite has not been announced, but is expected to arrive in 2020.

343 should reveal many new details about the game at the upcoming E3 gaming convention in June, including a brand new trailer, release date, game videos, and more.
