NEW MANCHESTER – Area residents looking for traditional games and entertainment will have such an opportunity with the Hancock County Oldtime Fair, which runs Friday through Sunday at Tomlinson Run State Park.
The fair will be open from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, with entertainment near the park’s swimming pool. Admission to the fair is $ 1.
Activities on offer include children’s games throughout the weekend, local food and craft vendors, and live shows, as well as a bike party starting at 5 p.m. on Friday and a bike fair. car from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Bike Night will include free entry to the fair for bikes and passengers, at a cost of $ 1 or a canning voucher for everyone else.
To register for the Auto Show, a fee of $ 5 will be charged. Prizes will be awarded at 2:30 p.m.
The fair will feature an exhibition tent, with a variety of local produce, flowers and more, as well as pies, bread, jellies, crafts, blankets, needlework, photographs and more. toys on display and for judgment.
The New Manchester Volunteer Fire Department will be present throughout the fair, hosting a truck filling event. Participants are encouraged to consider donating a new, unopened toy or a monetary contribution. All proceeds will be donated to the Hancock County Shop along with a cop.
The weekend entertainment lineup will include Cartoon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Honky Tonkin from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, students of Express Your Talent Dance and Performing Arts Studio at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, and Keith Williams, noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.
There will be a children’s pet contest on Saturday at noon.
