The legend of Jasprit Bumrah continues to grow: in just over a year, the fast launcher has galloped away to become the most valuable asset of India in the three formats and with a hat trick on the second day of the second test in Jamaica, the fast pitcher has registered his authority on this format and has entered an exclusive club of Indian bowlers. Harbhajan Singh against Australia
India was facing Australia, a test team in Kolkata that beats the world. In the previous match, the team led by Steve Waugh had outsmarted Sourav Ganguly and his company in Mumbai and was conducting the same procedure at Eden Gardens. They were on the road at 25.44am when Harbhajan Singh entered and changed the story.
He trapped Ricky Ponting with a flat ball and the right-hander was caught just in front of the stumps. Adam Gilchrist entered the room and he too placed his back foot against a flat ball that aimed at the stumps. The ball tarnished his pads and referee Bansal delivered him. However, when the reruns appeared, there was a massive inner edge.
Shane Warne was the next man to beware. Ganguly had positioned Sadagopan Ramesh on the short leg before. Harbhajan came in, made the ball fly and turned it just to the touch. Warne tried to push him away, but Ramesh plunged acrobatically to his right to catch the catch.
Australia has slipped and India has written a famous victory by combining VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid to form perhaps the most famous partnership of Indian cricket.
Irfan Pathan against Pakistan
India was on tour in Pakistan, Captain Rahul Dravid won the draw and chose to bowling first. Irfan Pathan had the new ball and Salman Butt was on strike.
Irfan ran inside, put the ball on a length and managed to get it back. Butt offered a soft bat while the ball was kissing the outer edge and was perfectly in the hands of Captain Rahul Dravid.
That brought Younis Khan, Irfan had a good pace and he sent the perfect dune. Younis played the wrong line when the ball went past the bat to find the chips. He was in front of the stumps and had to walk a long way back.
Mohammad Yusuf then took custody and Irfan ran inside and found the perfect line and length again. The ball came back and this time found room between the bat and the pads and crushed the stumps. Arms raised, Irfan had sliced the high-end of Pakistan.
However, despite this remarkable effort, Pakistan responded with flying colors from there to finally beat India with 341 points.

Jasprit Bumrah against the West Indies
Bumrah had left-hander Darren Bravo caught on the second soap opera for four, before trapping Shamarh Brooks and Roston Chase lbw for golden ducks at Sabina Park in Kingston. Bumrah picked up three more wickets to finish the day with 6-16 points out of 9.1, after taking 5-7 last week in the second run of the first test.
