Heather O'Reilly, a former member of the American women's football team, responded on Tuesday to former teammate Hope Solo's comments about coach Jill Ellis.
O'Reilly, an analyst at FOX Sports, was a teammate at Solo when they were under Ellis' direction at the 2015 Women's World Cup. She told Fox News that the US team had shown that she was not "no perfect".

"I think all teams are experiencing highs and lows in a tournament and I like to keep everything going on in the team," O'Reilly said. "I am very confidential about the good and bad times of the national team."
She added, "I think the national team has shown that it was not perfect, Jill Ellis is not perfect, the coaching staff does not have a perfect fit. is not perfect, the team is not always perfect but they have a very high level of excellence and I think that's what we should be focusing on and that's what we should appreciate. "
