Hellblade 2 actress teases Xbox Series X game in new Twitter post

Outside of the game’s initial trailer at the Game Awards in 2019, we haven’t seen anything new from The Senua Saga: Hellblade II. However, the upcoming Xbox Series X game still appears to be in active development, especially if a new tease from one of the most prominent names attached to the project is something to be done.

Recently spotted on Twitter, Melina Juergens, who plays Senua in both Hellblade games, posted a photo of herself putting on rather recognizable makeup. The markings on her face looked like the ones Senua wore in the reveal trailer of Hellblade II. Juergens hasn’t directly commented on the makeup much or mentioned the reason she put it on. Instead, she simply posted the photo with the caption, “For every battle won, a bigger battle takes its place.”

The main question raised by this image is as to why Juergens even wore it initially. Does it do motion capture work for Hellblade II right now and just wanted to look at the play some more? Or did she just decide to put this on for fun and to get the fans excited? Regardless of the answer, it doesn’t change the course of the game’s development. Still, it’s really curious and might tease that more title information might be coming soon.

The Senua Saga: Hellblade II Still doesn’t have a release date, or even a launch window, but there’s a good chance we’ll start hearing more as the year progresses. For now, all we know for sure is that it will be exclusive to Xbox Series X / S and PC.

Are you still eager to see more of Hellblade II In the future? Give me your opinion either in the comments or on Twitter at @ Mooreman12.
