WALDENBERG, Arkansas (AP) – Public health officials have warned Arkans of the Northeast of another possible exposure to hepatitis after an employee of a station market -Service of the region has been tested positive for the virus.
Officials from the Arkansas Department of Health said Friday that a Jordanian employee Kwik Stop in Waldenberg had tested positive for hepatitis A. They warned anyone to eat or drink there between 14 and March 29 to get vaccinated immediately.

The department will hold free vaccination clinics in Harrisburg, Marked Tree, Trumann and Waldenberg on Monday.
Health officials said that since February 2018, 317 cases of the disease have been reported, including three deaths.
Hepatitis A is a contagious and potentially life-threatening but treatable liver disease. Symptoms include fever, nausea, fatigue and jaundice.
