On Thursday, there will be light snow early before temperatures drop by Friday.
Forecasters are calling for ocean-effect flurries over coastal areas Thursday morning, particularly on the South Shore, Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. Otherwise, the sky will be mostly cloudy and highs will reach the 30s in many places.
Temperatures will drop overnight and Friday will be freezing cold – with wind chills potentially dropping below freezing.
