Today marks the beginning of Destiny 2S new community challenge on Mars, an event that seems somehow merged to bridge the gap between now and the delayed release date of Shadowkeep, October 1. Despite destiny As a community series, we've never seen anything like this before, and I think it's kind of a test ball for future developments in the concept, if Luke Smith's recent comments are enough to to run away.
So, what is waiting for us during this event? It's a lot of dead and many activities completed on Mars. In short, it's a week in which you really, really, have to make serious progress towards Wayfarer, the collector title that's still bothered by some weapons and equipment from Mars that you should now be able to cultivate more easily this week in the part of this challenge.
Let's start. These can be done in any order:
Challenge 1: Beat 175,000 Wave 7 Climbing Protocol Leaders
This week's boss is Bok Litur, Hunger of Xol, which means that all of the three weapons of the EP, the SMG, the shotgun and the sniper may fall. The shotgun is still usable, although it is a 1 year old weapon and other guns with a trench cannon, and it's an explosion, no pun intended. The other two are needed for Wayfarer, so you will want the boss to grow it until you have them.
Remember: if you have not done a lot of EP, after killing a boss, you can wait a bit, then restart EP again, which will kick the send to the Wave 6, which means you do not have to redo the whole race. . It only takes one person in your group to know that information, but yes, it's very important. I would use the Bungie.net app to have at least three people with whom to work with EP, rather than relying on randomness. Although I guess Mars will hit this week.
Also can If you have decryption, get a piece of EP armor this week by character, but you might want to keep that up to Shadowkeep, when EP Armor 2.0 armor starts to drop instead. You need at least one complete set for a Wayfarer character.
Challenge 2: Defeat 300 million hives on Mars
This is by far the easiest challenge because we will easily succeed in all these killings if we literally do any of these activities because they are all based on Hive and Mars. You do not have to lose the farm in the area to do your part.
Challenge 3: Beat Nokris 150,000 times in Nightfalls, defeat Xol 100,000 times in Nightfalls
I'm not sure why there was a difference between the two, because Xol's strike is much faster. But I guess Nokris's is what you need to grow the strike-specific drop, Braytech Osprey, which is also necessary for Wayfarer.
I ran this strike until my eyes bleed and I finally understood it. If I have a tip to give, the short ones, it's better than the highscore. Put the weight on the bow and the heavy weight and get a team running the Wardcliff Coil triple coil, as you can pop Nokris in three seconds before it's in the shelter, this which will probably make you win at least five minutes per race. Otherwise, it's a little painful because of the way the boss phase works.
Xol is the quickest and easiest hit of the game in my opinion, so I have no doubt that 100,000 deaths from him will go fast. I'm probably going to use this one just because I never want to get another one after my nightmare at Osprey Farm.
Challenge 4: Use 300,000 override frequencies
For some time since Warmind, if you forgot your password, the neutralization frequencies are what you get by combining resonances of resonance. These lead you to the nodes of Rasputin who sing on the whole map.
I am a little concerned that this challenge is resolved because there is literally no reason to do it. except for the Braytech Handgun (necessary for Wayfarer), they fall. Bungie recently made a change to these rules, which no longer allow a soft lock consisting of getting a weapon pattern by daily reset. Now you can cultivate these weapons more easily and so-called, even if you prefer weapons that you do not have. For Wayfarer, these are brick walls for many people, but this is probably about to change. But I wonder how many people are actually going to do these things if they do not really need them. I am certainly not. Google Esoterickk videos for good guides on finding each node location.
The rewards? They are not a lot, but it does not matter. If you throw at least one Nightfall this week, you get this emblem / banner:
And if we achieve all these goals, we unlock double drops in Menagerie with triple, quadruple and five-fold widths every Friday after that, until Shadowkeep, I believe. Still not sure if at least the double falls of chests are permanent or not.
And that's it, but again, I think it's a test for the future challenges of the community. Bungie says they'll update us daily with totals, and we have community leaders like Gladd who get everyone in shape to make sure we achieve those goals. We'll see each other there.
