Highlights of the Yankees: J.A. Happ and the super pen dominate the sailors

The Yankees suffered a deflated defeat yesterday, but they showed resilience all season and they bounced tonight with an easy win. They easily stopped the Mariners and attacked enough to capture the game and series in Seattle. With the Rays offs, New York is only 1.5 games behind Tampa Bay, first place.

J. A. Happ seemed to have taken that honor when he led 4-0, but we have to stick to the Yankees throwing team as a whole. Happ scored a single hit in five or more innings, eliminating seven. The scorer followed with four one-point ball heats, allowing only one shot, a solo shot in the ninth inning by Domingo Santana on Aroldis Chapman. It was the rare game to date where the team's super-pen played almost entirely to form.

Honorable mention: Gleyber Torres, who struck a few shots and started a crucial and decisive double play that ended the sixth inning, blocking the tie at third.

Loser of the game

Virtually no one has survived tonight with a dreadful performance. We will therefore accompany Miguel Andujar, one of the two starters not to reach the base, simply because a night without stain continued his bad pass after returning from training. His slash line for the year is now at a pitiful .143 / .162 / .143. It is unfair to choose Andujar for a banal mundane game, but there have been no collapses of relief or nights full of mistakes.
