Honey sleuth makes bees fearful

Himalayan balm, an invasive plant, has also increased in the landscape, especially along riverbanks and roadsides. When bees feed on Himalayan balm, they return to the hive with a pollen wash covering their bodies, causing them to be called “ghost bees.”
