Summit of Time has brought together 16 of the greatest Mortal Kombat 11 players in the world for an intense and fun weekend of competition, but one of these competitors is coming back a little earlier than expected due to some actions taken in outside the game

Beyond the FGC Summit announced earlier this morning that he was disqualifying the "BC | HoneyBee" Commander of the Summit of Time from the main event in parentheses for breach of his players' code of conduct.

"Yesterday, Honeybee violated our code of conduct for players and unfortunately, because of the nature of the incident, we excluded him from the tournament," reads in a BTS FGC statement on Twitter. "As a result, his first-round opponent will receive a pass."

The Commander also used Twitter to speak briefly about the incident and to confirm that he had indeed had an altercation with another unidentified player at the Summit. HoneyBee says that he takes full responsibility for his actions, understands why he was disqualified and apologizes to everyone involved.

"One thing I want to add to that, is that myself and the other player are 100% cool, I apologized to him personally and there is no bad thing about it. will / grudge, etc. "- Bee

This altercation seems to have taken place outside the brook, so we do not know what the confrontation caused. HoneyBee has followed its official response stating that he and the other player have solved the problem and that there would be more resentment between them.

It was planned that PG | KitanaPrime is the first opponent of HoneyBee on the losing side. Therefore, due to disqualification, KitanaPrime received a first round to face END | Scar.

HoneyBee was among the top 10 competitors invited to participate in the first Mortal Kombat summit alongside other great players such as FOX | SonicFox, PG | Hayatei, NASR | Tekken Master, etc.

Commander has always been one of the most powerful NetherRealm fighting game players since the launch of the first game Injustice. He took second place at EVO 2017 and third place at EVO 2015.

Beastcoast, official sponsor of HoneyBee, did not make any statement on this subject at the date of the report. Below you will find the official statements of the BTS FGC and HoneyBee on the disqualification of Summit of Time.

I made a mistake and broke the rules of the time summit. I had an altercation with another player. It was my fault and I take full responsibility for my actions. They have excluded me from the competition for my fault and, unfortunately, I will not be able to participate in the fork today. I understand that it was necessary. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to all my fans, the rest of the players at the event, Summit / BTS and beastcoast. I promise to learn from this mistake and that it will not happen again.
