If you are eligible to get a vaccine now, you can use the state’s “MyTurn” site. It allows you to check your eligibility and make an appointment at mass vaccination sites and pharmacies. If you’re not currently eligible, you can also sign up to be notified when it’s your turn. However, if you are not eligible, you cannot book an early appointment on MyTurn. (For example, if you are 30 with no underlying conditions, you will be eligible on April 15, but the site will not yet allow you to make an appointment for April 16.)

If an appointment is not available to you through the state portal, several counties in the Bay Area have also implemented their own systems.

Here’s what we know about how to get vaccinated in every Bay Area county:
Alameda County
Alameda County follows state guidelines for groups allowed to receive the vaccine. The county has implemented a form that notifies you when your window opens; you can fill it in here.
Kaiser Permanente says he will contact patients when they are eligible. You can also call 866-454-8855 to find out more. (More info here.)
Sutter Health patients who are eligible can visit this site to schedule and make an appointment. They also have a planning call center available at 844-987-6115.
If you have another health care provider, Alameda County suggests that you contact them directly to find out when you might get a vaccine.
Contra Costa County
Contra Costa County is a little ahead of the state’s schedule and has already expanded eligibility to people 50 and older. Make an appointment with the county here or by calling 1-833-829-2626.
Marin County
The exact nature of the populations vaccinated in the county depends on the health care provider; residents can go there to check their eligibility and appointments or call 415-473-4381.
Napa County
Napa County previously had an appointment request form, but now requires residents to use the MyTurn site. The county also has information for Kaiser patients, Rite Aid appointments and more here. You can call 707-253-4270.
San Francisco County
The city allows you to sign up to be notified when it’s your turn to get the vaccine, but encourages you to contact your health care provider if you qualify. You can register here. You can also contact them by calling 415-554-2500.

San Mateo County
San Mateo County has information on eligibility and enrollment rules for Blue Shield, Kaiser, San Mateo Medical Center, Stanford, Sutter / PAMF, veterans, and uninsured residents here. You can also contact the county regarding COVID-19 vaccines by calling 650-573-2222.
Santa Clara County
Residents of Santa Clara County can find appointment scheduling information here. There are options to book appointments with Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, Stanford, Kaiser, Palo Alto Medical Foundation, El Camino Health, Bay Area Community Health, AV, and retail pharmacies. You can also reach the county by calling 408-992-4900.

Solano County
Solano County is ahead of the state’s vaccine eligibility schedule and already vaccinates residents and people working in the county aged 50 and over. Eligible people can see a full list of provider options here.

Sonoma County
A list of providers and information on how to make appointments in Sonoma County can be found here. For more information, the county health department can be reached at 707-565-4700.
Lake County
The department directs residents to the MyTurn site to make an appointment. Lake County public health officials can be contacted by email at [email protected] or by phone at 707-263-8174.
Santa Cruz County
Residents of Santa Cruz County must first contact their health care provider if they are eligible to receive a vaccine. They can also visit the MyTurn site to make an appointment.
