You may have noticed that the NHL has been a bit busy lately between buyouts, contract extensions, trades, and players waiving no-move clauses.
Blame it on the Seattle Kraken. Hospitality offices across the league are active due to the chaotic July 21 event which is the expansion draft. Agents, officers and players are all gearing up for an event that will dramatically change the landscape of the NHL. Further moves are expected to occur until Saturday, when the teams will be required to submit their protected lists, which will be made public on Sunday.
Next is the wait game to see which players will make the trip to the Pacific Northwest.
