How to get Insane Weapon XP in Outbreak

Black Ops Cold War Zombies has a new game mode, and Outbreak allows players to upgrade their weapons extremely quickly, easily gaining massive weapon XP.

It’s time for a new season of Black Ops Cold War, and that can only mean there’s work to be done.

Whether it’s progressing through the Battle Pass, unlocking new camos, or upgrading your new weapons, there is always something to do.

But there’s a new mode that makes it easier to grind your new Black Ops Cold War Season 2 weapons. We’re referring, of course, to Outbreak.

The new open world experience of Cold War Zombies is something truly amazing, but it’s also a game mode that can be tapped for insane weapon XP. Here’s how:

How to Quickly Upgrade Weapons in Black Ops Cold War Zombies

If you’re looking to upgrade your new Season 2 weapons, Cold War Zombies Outbreak Mode is the best way to do it.

Thanks to the way the game mode grants XP, this is easily the best way to upgrade your new unlocks. This is especially true, during the current period of Black Ops Cold War Double XP which is in progress at the time of writing this article.

If you’re looking to get Weapon EXP as quickly as possible to upgrade your weapons, here’s what to do:

• First, get started in a game of Outbreak. You can do this very well in Solo, but having 4 players in a match gives you more XP.
• Then take the weapon of your choice and kill all the zombies on the map.
• It means driving to every location, killing all the traveling hordes, and triggering new spawns through events and entering houses.
• Just like in standard Cold War zombies, players accumulate Weapon EXP faster in the first few turns of the game. As a result, you will accumulate XP quickly at the start of Outbreak, thanks to the sheer volume of zombies on the map.
• Get perks like Stamin-up and Deadshot Daiquiri, in order to make the process of destroying zombies faster. Fortunately, you can get free perks in Cold War Zombies Outbreak Mode.
• Since you gain so many points and recovery, you will be able to Pack-a-Punch your weapon and improve its rarity. No matter how far you go in the game, you should be completely overpowered because of it.
• However, the XP weapon starts to drop around Round 3. Therefore, after completing the third main objective of the game, it’s time to go and collect your XP weapon.

Just by doing this process once, YouTuber Caspahz was able to upgrade the Fara 83 from level 1 to level 40. You can unlock camos with this method as well, with a similar speed.
