How to prioritize app downloads in iOS

[ad_1]

I feel a little bad about not knowing this before, but that's part of the fun of iOS: there is always something new at random, like the trick to move many apps at once, geek radar from time to time.

Here is the deal. If you download many applications (whether you have gone crazy on the App Store or that there is a ton of updates for the applications already installed on your iPhone or iPad), you will not want to worry about it. do not have to sit there and let your device choose which app. downloads first.

Maybe the application you really want to use is low in the queue of download, but pressing "Update All", you made sure that it is grayed out and unusable until the end of the update day. That's it, or as my colleague Virginia suggested, you may be about to lose your connection on the train or the subway and want to make sure you can use your favorite app (or an app that you just bought) when you are offline.

If your device supports 3D Touch, just forced press on a gray application to activate a popup menu, and tap the "Download by priority" option.

That's all. Make sure to enjoy when you are with your friends with non-3D-Touch devices, like the iPhone XR, because they will not be able to play with the download queue of their device. (One would think that those who do not have 3D Touch on their devices could long press to activate the same context menu, but that does not seem to be the case.)
