Jupiter will shine throughout this month, with its best performance at the opposition on June 10, according to AccuWeather.
The opposition occurs when the Earth is completely aligned between the sun and another planet. June 10 is also the time when Jupiter gets closer to the Earth of the year.
The gas giant will be one of the brightest objects of the night sky during this period. Looking through a telescope, you'll be able to see the big red spot on the planet, its cloudy stripes and maybe even its biggest moons.
Look for Jupiter who rises from the southeast at sunset. He will slowly follow the night sky before settling to the southeast.
