The Chinese telecommunications giant said it is ready to sell the basic code of its 5G technology to any prospective Western buyer.
According to its founder "Ren Zhengfei", this would help level the playing field in global telecommunications.
The United States has already called Huawei a "threat to national security" accusing it of spying for Beijing.
