Hugh Bonneville gets hit with COVID as volunteer marshall

Hugh Bonneville received his COVID-19 vaccine while working as a volunteer Vaccine Commissioner at his local medical center in England.

The Downton abbey star shared a photo of himself being vaccinated while proudly wearing his volunteer t-shirt and thumbs up.

The 57-year-old actor volunteered at Midhurst Riverbank Medical Center in West Sussex, England, and posted on Instagram how proud he was to be able to help during the pandemic.

Bonneville legend revealed that he received an AstraZeneca vaccination, the same type that his compatriot Joan Collins received.

Other stars who have been vaccinated include Ian McKellen, David Attenborough, Prue Leith, Steve Martin, Mandy Patinkin, Anthony Hopkins, Martha Stewart, Samuel L. Jackson, Tyler Perry and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The Paddington The star recently complained that he is regularly the target of trolls posing as him on social media.

He told the Daily mail: “About every two weeks some numpty who can’t spell create two new accounts pretending to be me.”

“They send naff private messages to people following me, hoping to lure them into a strange cave under a boulder near the sea anemones of their imaginations.”

However, Bonneville has shared many authentic articles about her life during the coronavirus pandemic on her real Instagram and Twitter pages, and her fans have offered her their congratulations on receiving the vaccine.
