Hulu + Live TV Launches New 14-Day Live TV Guide on Roku and Apple TV – The Streamable

Yesterday brought a the redesigned home screen for Hulu's mobile apps, while today their TV apps have a much needed improvement. Hulu confirmed that the new live guide, which now allows you to watch 14-day programs (instead of 48 hours), is being rolled out on Roku and Apple TV devices. They plan to extend this system to more devices in the coming months.

  • Access a comprehensive guide to the two-week grid that allows viewers to see what's ahead, pre-record upcoming shows, movies and games, and surf content that's right for them.
  • Add channels to "My Channels" to access their favorite channels and programs directly from Home and the Live Guide.
  • Easily find the recommended TV shows and movies that are broadcast on live TV now from your home.
  • Browse live content collections for quick access to live, upcoming sports, news, film, and content for kids.

The feature was originally announced by Hulu at CES in January and began airing on Hulu.com last month. In addition to the 2 weeks, you will quickly see on the left side that you can switch between All channels, favorites, recentand categories like Sports. The new guide adds a quick view panel, easier filtering, startup icons and an indicator if a game is blackened in your city directly from the guide.

A new icon in the guide indicating whether a content item can be started from the beginning.
