INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Winter Club of Indianapolis is welcoming more than 200 people to the Indiana State Fairground for “Back on the Ice” Sunday.

During the event, ice skating coaches and members of the Winter Club team will help those ages 3 to 73 get back on the ice at the Pop Weaver Youth Lodge. Competitive skaters will also be on hand to demonstrate jumps and more.

“We’re going to show you how to get your first steps on the ice and how to get out here and have fun,” said Winter Club President Michelle Study-Campbell.

Study-Campbell explained what it means to prepare for the skaters’ return to the fairgrounds after an 18-month absence on “All Indiana” on Wednesday.

“We’re back on the ice and we want everyone to join us,” Study-Campbell said.

You can reserve a place for the free skating session in line, but the capacity will be limited. September 25 is the last day to get tickets.
