Iman Shumpert Rockets leaves for a road trip with knee pain
LOS ANGELES – It's not the moment the Rockets think they'll do their full rotation for the first time since December 11th.
Striker Iman Shumpert will face the Lakers Thursday and the Warriors on Saturday with a painful knee. He will then be re-evaluated next week before the Rockets face the Hawks on Monday to start a three-game series in four evenings.
With the Rockets dealing with James Ennis III at the trading deadline after the acquisition of Shumpert, Gerald Green and Austin Rivers will be the only reserves of the attackers' bench. Rivers missed the final match before the All-Star break with a right elbow ache, but was allowed to exercise and play.
