Impact Wrestling’s Good Brothers invade AEW and destroy everyone

[ad_1]

AEW presented the first night of New Year’s Smash on tonight’s episode (January 6) of Dynamite.

The main event saw Kenny Omega successfully defending the AEW World Championship against Rey Fenix. When the match was over, Jon Moxley went out to get a piece of Omega’s ass with a barbed wire baseball bat.

Mox briefly had the advantage, but was suddenly ambushed by the Good Brothers, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, who are the Impact Wrestling tag team champions:

Omega grabbed the bat and beat Moxley into oblivion. It went on for a long time without any help from the AEW wrestlers at the back, even as special commentator Chris Jericho was shouting about a hostile takeover.

All the ringside jabronis eventually tried to help, but the Good Brothers destroyed them all. It was then that the Young Bucks came out and tried to defuse the situation. They didn’t seem to be on the same page with Omega and the Good Brothers at first.

But then Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr. attempted to get their hands on Omega, and the Young Bucks used a sudden kick to defend their friend Elite.

That’s when the hand signal increased and the Bucks joined in with their former Bullet Club mates:

Does this mean that the Young Bucks, who are AEW’s executive vice presidents along with Omega and Cody Rhodes, are actually approving a hostile AEW takeover of Impact Wrestling?
