The Minister also added that more attention is being given to the cruise tourism sector with the Ministry of Tourism investing Rs. 100 crore and the Department of Merchant Marine contributing a corpus of Rs. 250 crore to the sector. Cruise ports are under development in Mumbai where it is accompanied by an entertainment complex, as well as Cruise Jetty in Goa, Cochin, Chennai and Visakhapatnam.
