For all its faults, Apple knows how to arouse the public interest for its new phones year after year. Samsung seems to have learned its lesson because recent leaks point to a potentially remarkable upgrade that could bring out an otherwise dull Galaxy Note 9. And even if it's not the smartphone buyers who are constantly changing the game, it could be enough to encourage thousands of note owners to upgrade.
Earlier in the week, Ice Universe suggested that the S Pen on the Galaxy Note 9 would be "the biggest update in the history of the S Pen." Unfortunately, the user did not give any concrete details, but an enthusiastic Samsung account shortly after the tweets of Ice Universe to provide context regarding the update:

Equipped with Bluetooth, the new S Pen can become much more than a simple stylus, allowing users to take photos or control the playback of media without having to touch the screen. Of course, this indicates that the S Pen will need a battery, but according to Samsung Mobile News, "The Pen will be charged by simply putting it back into the Smartphone." As long as it's real, it sounds like a clever upgrade for a popular accessory.
