While following this plan, Wright reduced his carbohydrate intake and added vegetables, fruits, lean meats and egg whites to his diet. She also started drinking at least eight glbades of water a day. She hoped that consistency would lead to results.
"If I do everything right, I do not see why I would fail," she said.
In the past, Wright did not practice because she was afraid to go to the gym. So she bought a treadmill and started slowly, walking 15 minutes every day. Soon she was walking for 30 minutes a day. Then 45 minutes a day.
"I walk all the way up to the highest incline and walk," she says.
Wright has also started doing HIIT video workouts of 30 minutes a day. His instinct was right – consistency led to results. Since January, Wright has lost 71 pounds and weighs 266 pounds. She finally wants to weigh 180 pounds, but understands that it will take time.
"It works if you keep going in. I know the plateaus are still going to come in, but if I keep pushing it will work," she said.
Although she likes her clothes to fit better, she has noticed that the biggest transformation is with what she feels.
"I am happy and full of energy to play with my daughter," she said.
Wright shared her trip to social media, a habit she started because she thought it would keep her on the right track. But he also had an unexpected advantage.
"People have started to activate me," she says. "They just want to see me win."
Wright hopes to inspire others who want to make healthy changes and shared this advice on what keeps her focused:
1. Find your inspiration.
While Wright originally wanted to lose weight to be a better mother, she remained motivated by her strong faith.
"There is nothing I can do until I have God in my life and if I do," she says. "It's my faith and my daughter who motivate me to be better."
For months, it seemed like the number on the scale was not moving. But Wright noticed that her clothes were better fitted and that she had more energy. His stamina was improved and his muscles stopped suffering after workouts. It was then that she realized that she was progressing, but not the kind that she saw on the scale.
"I had this sweater so tight," she said. "I would use this every month for the first three months (to track my progress) .It would be a small loser's case every time I put it on."
3. Surround yourself with support.
Wright 's followers on social media help him stay focused. His mother also provides him with daily support that inspires Wright when the trip seems too difficult.
"Every day she sends me messages to encourage me to continue, my mother and my faith in Christ and my daughter are what brought me to this point," she said. said.
