Chandigarh: Ghats App Email WhatsApp will deploy a new feature that will allow administrators in the WhatsApp group to decide who can send messages to this group. The latest beta test update, available only for registered beta testers, has this feature. After registering the WhatsApp beta tester account, Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) verified the updated functionality.

Once deployed for all users, admins from the WhatsApp group will choose who can send messages to their group. There are two options "All Participants" and "Only Administrators". If a group administrator selects "Only Administrators", other participants in the group will not be able to post messages to this group.
This feature will probably increase the usefulness of WhatsApp groups in specific cases, especially for broadcasters who will be able to invite people to join their show.
