Vivo recently launched its latest smartphone, the Vivo V9, in India. Based retailer, Mahesh Telecom, the V9 has received a price drop in the country.
The smartphone now comes with a price tag of Rs 20,990, against its initial price of Rs 22,990. This makes a price reduction of Rs 2,000 on the smartphone As a reminder, the brand introduced the smartphone in March of this year in the country.
The light of the smartphone is the screen without bezel with an iPhone X-like notch. The phone has a screen-body ratio of 90 percent and it has thin 1.75 mm glbades. The camera comes with a full HD + AMOLED screen of 6.3 inches with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz along with GPU Adreno 506.
The device is backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be extended up to 256 GB via a micro SD card slot. The Vivo V9 has two rear cameras with a combination of 16 megapixel and 5 megapixel sensors with LED flash. For the front, there will be a 24-megapixel shooter with a wide-angle lens. The functions of the rear camera are Slow Motion, AI Face Beauty and 4K video. The features of the front camera are AI beauty face, bad detection, AR sticker, facial beauty video, camera filter, HDR. The smartphone will feature Face Unlock and there will also be a fingerprint sensor.
The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo with the company's own FunTouch OS 4.0 operating system. It is backed by a 3260mAh battery with a fast charge stand. On the connectivity front, the Vivo V9 supports Triple Slot, 4L VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS, Dual SIM and Micro USB 2.0. The handset measures 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89 mm and weights 150 grams
