Launch of two-wheelers coming this week: BMW Motorrad and Suzuki to spice up the segments

The coming week has plenty of room for two-wheelers. Three two-wheelers are launching in India this week and almost all are highly anticipated. The biggest news of the week will be announced on July 18 when the German motoring giant BMW Motorrad will launch its two most affordable bikes in India, namely the G 310 R and the G 310 GS. Bicycles have attracted the attention of enthusiasts for a long time and these are the most affordable products of the company that will satisfy the dream of many BMW owners. On the other hand, Suzuki will launch its flagship Burgman Street scooter in India and it will sit over Access 125 which is doing decent work for the company for a long time. The BMW G 310 R will be equipped with disc brakes at both ends and a two-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) will be offered in series. The new BMW G 310 R is expected to be launched in India at a price close to Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete with the popular KTM 390 Duke.

In addition to the highly anticipated G 310 R, BMW Motorrad will also launch its adventurous brother G 310 GS in India on July 18th. The BMW G 310 GS is based on the G 310 R and therefore shares most of its components, including the engine, chbadis and wheels with the G 310 R. The engine power and torque of the BMW G 310 GS could undergo minor revisions to have the features of an adventure tourer. In order to support off-road and long-distance driving, the BMW G 310 GS has features like a larger windshield, a long suspension, luggage bags and more. The new BMW G 310 GS should require a premium of at least 50,000 rupees compared to the price of the G 310 R and should therefore be sold at around 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first time. India. The new Burgman Street will be the company's flagship scooter for India and is sold in international markets in several versions ranging from 125cc to 650cc. The Suzuki Burgman Street's power supply will be the same 125cc engine as that of the company's best Access 125 scooter. The main features of the upcoming Suzuki Burgman Street include an LED headlamp, a fully digital dashboard, adjustable footrests and much more. The scooter will have a disc brake in the front and the braking system will most likely get a Combi braking system to provide extra safety. Resellers of Express Drives had confirmed the price of the scooter earlier. The new Suzuki Burgman Street will be sold in India at nearly 76,000 rupees (on the road, Delhi) and will be equipped with TVS Ntorq 125 and Honda Grazia 125.
