Hinduja's flagship firm, Ashok Leyland, announced today that it has ordered a third project to supply 147 buses valued at $ 9.57 million in Burkina Faso.
The repeated order by Ashok Leyland West Africa India through the Ecowas Investment and Development Bank (EBID), includes 80 Falcon units, 57 units of Eagle 916 and 10 units of MiTR bus models, said Ashok Leyland in a regulatory filing.
"The buses will be provided to the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, worth $ 9.57 million," he adds.
