New Study Confirms Diabetes Increases Cancer Risk

The review was done by Dr. Toshiaki Ohkuma, of the George Institute for Global Health of the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia

. Dr. Ohkuma and his colleagues discovered that type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Increase the risk of developing cancer. However, they found that men are less likely to develop a tumor than women. They showed that women have a 27% chance of developing cancer. However, men with diabetes are 19 percent likely.

And women are 6% more likely to develop cancer than men. Even though both are diagnosed with the same type of cancer.
