Xiaomi today launched two new smartphones at its worldwide event in Spain. These new smartphones are the Xiaomi Mi A2 and the Mi A2 Lite. Although both devices are part of Google's Android One program, they differ in terms of design, specifications, and features. Here is an overview of these differences.

The two new Xiaomi smartphones feature a big screen, but only the Mi A2 comes with a notch up. The Mi A2 displays an 18/9 screen of 5.99 inches, while the Mi A2 Lite has a 19/9 screen of 5.84 inches. Both screens work at full HD + resolution.

The Mi A2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset clocked at 2.2 GHz. The Mi A2 Lite, on the other hand, is powered by a chipset that is highly preferred by Xiaomi – Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 clocked at 2GHz. The chipsets are paired with Adreno 512 GPU and Adreno 506 GPU, respectively.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 was launched in three variants. The base and middle variants come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB and 64GB of storage respectively. The higher variant comes with 128GB of storage, and 6GB of RAM.
The Mi A2 Lite, on the other hand, comes in just two variants. The base model has a storage space of 32 GB and 3 GB of RAM, while the higher version has 64 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM. Internal storage on all variants can be expanded with the help of a microSD card.
The three Mi A2 versions are priced at € 249 (about Rs 20,000), € 279 (about Rs 22,500) and € 349 (about Rs 28,100), respectively. The two Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite variants are priced at € 179 (around Rs 14,400), and € 229 (around Rs 18,400).

Xiaomi Mi A2 vs. Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite: Cameras
Both smartphones feature a dual camera configuration at the back and d & A single camera at the front for selfies. The Mi A2 features a 20 megapixel primary sensor combination with an aperture of f / 1.75 and a 12 megapixel secondary sensor with an aperture of f / 1.75.
