Mahindra U321 likely to be called Marazzo: MPV to challenge 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

Mahindra's next MPV, codenamed U321, is expected to be commercialized in India in the next two months. As the company sets the tone for its official unveiling of the car, Mahindra will unveil the name of his new vehicle on July 31, 2018. It is also likely that Mahindra's U321 could be christened as the new Mahindra Marazzo. According to the company's naming philosophy, Mahindra has always opted for names ending in the letter "O" such as the Mahindra Quanto, Mahindra Xylo, Mahindra Scorpio, Mahindra Verito and even the Mahindra XUV500 which is pronounced by XUV 5 (double O). Mahindra two-wheelers also, have similar names such as Mojo, Centuro and Gusto.

Officially, Mahindra and Mahindra have not yet confirmed the name Marazzo, but we can confirm that Mahindra had filed the mark of that word with a logo, with Intellectual Property of India, Ministry of Commerce and Trade. 39; Industry. However, it is not yet specified if the U321 will call Marazzo or if it is just the logo that is called the Marazzo.

However, all this speculation around Mahindra's promising new MPV will be cleared once Mahindra's management team comes out on stage Tuesday. Mahindra U321 MPV or the Marazzo has been tested several times and will probably be available in both 7-seater, 8-seater options. We are also expecting Mahindra to introduce a new 1.5L diesel engine with this new MPV.

The Mahindra MP32 U321 is also the first product developed by the Mahindra North American Technical Center. While more details on Mahindra's new MPV are yet to be revealed, the MPV will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Renault Lodgy. We also expect the Marazzo to position itself a little higher than the Ertiga, to disrupt Toyota Innova Crysta sales.
