Earlier today, the next Honor Magic 2 Fullview screen, a sliding smartphone, was again teased, reminding us of its release date for Oct. 31. According to a newly discovered banner, it turns out that the Magic 2 will not be the only Honor device to be unveiled at the event.
It is clear that the banner does not reveal much about the Honor watch, but with some extrapolation and pixel-piercing, there might still be some predictions to be made here. Most of them revolve around the recently announced Huawei Watch GT. It does not take much more than a silhouette to spot the resemblance between the two devices. What about the pair of buttons on the right, their angle and their position or what looks like extensible tabs at the bottom of the frame of the Honor Watch, potentially suggesting a solution of standard detachable watch band, like on the Huawei Watch GT. Huawei Watch GT
Taking this speculation even further and following the general trends in smartwatch, we can badume a kind of stainless steel construction for the frame, an OLED panel, by example. its energy efficiency and probably a heart rate monitor – both inexpensive and good to provide various measures related to the activity. The most interesting question in mind, though, is whether Huawei's parent company also provided OS with its new portable OS. See how the Huawei Watch GT runs on a proprietary operating system, rather than on Google Wear.
It would make a lot of sense to potentially extend the user base of this new operating system, of which we still know very little. In any case, even if the development for this one is not easily accessible at the moment, a larger device pool and an installation base could simply tip things in that direction. Whatever it is, we are just talking, but hopefully we will have enough information soon enough.
