Airtel launched a new free-market prepaid price plan worth 419 rupees that will provide subscribers with 105 GB of data and unlimited voice calls at 41 rupees.

Airtel launched a new free-market prepaid rate plan worth 419 RS offering subscribers 105GB of data and unlimited voice calling for Rs 419. Being an open market plan means that any Prepaid user Airtel can benefit from the plan. The new Airtel Rs 419 prepaid plan offers 1.4 GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 daily SMS messages with a validity of 75 days. The new Airtel plan will fall between its existing recharge plans at Rs 399 and 448.
Airtel's existing prepaid recharge plans Rs 399 and 448 also offer 1.4 GB of daily data and Unlimited voice calls, with variable validity periods. While the Rs 399 pack has a validity of 70 days, the pack Rs 448 has a validity of 82 days. Airtel also offers two cheaper packages, worth Rs 199 and Rs 219, that offer 1.4 GB of daily data with a validity of 28 days. There is also a plan Rs 509 that offers 1.4 GB of daily data with a validity of 90 days.
Airtel's Rs 419 recharge plan includes unlimited data if you keep the FUP out of the equation. This means subscribers will be able to continue using data services even after consuming the 105 GB Rs quota, of course, at reduced speeds. The new Airtel plan Rs 419 is therefore directly in competition with Jio, which offers no data limit in its own plans. In fact, all Airtel offers above that offer 1.4 GB of daily data per day are provided with an unlimited amount of data.
Rival Vodafone also offers similar rate plans for prepaid users. The telecom company recently announced charging packs of Rs 209, 479 and 529 offering 1.5 GB of daily data with a validity of 28 days, 84 days and 90 days respectively.
Airtel recently announced a plan for Rs 181 for its prepaid users who prefer more data on their investment. The Rs 181 package offers 3GB of daily data, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. That said, the validity of the plan is only 14 days, which means that the plan in all offers dates to 42 GB for Rs 181.
