To strengthen the cycle industry and light engineering, the state government decided to allocate 100 acres of land in the next high-tech cycle valley of Dhanansu village in Ludhiana to the development of a state-of-the-art industrial park under the project.

The government has already approved the project to create a cycling valley through the PSIEC (Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation), which covers more than 380 acres of panchayat land. The industrial growth of Ludhiana rests largely on the cycle industry and the cottage industry.

The idea behind the creation of the industrial park is to create an eco-system for bicycles and high-tech engineering products to give impetus to the modernization of technology so that the industry local market remains relevant and competitive on a global scale.

PSIEC is launching a call for proposals for the selection of a project company to set up an anchorage unit for the manufacture of mobility solutions such as motor vehicles, automotive components, bicycles, bicycle parts, electric vehicles such as electric bicycles, rickshaws, lithium-ion batteries, etc.

The company will develop the industrial park with ancillary units or sales units in the cycling valley to give a new impetus to the high-tech industrial cluster.
