After months of speculation, Soundarya, known to have directed films such as Kochadaiiyaan and VIP 2 confirmed Monday that she was going to marry the actor- Vishagan Vanangamudi business man. The wedding will take place in Chennai on February 11th.

This will be Soundarya's second wedding. Soundarya was previously married to industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar. She filed for divorce in a family court in Chennai in December 2016, citing irreconcilable differences. At the time, she asked the media and the public to respect the privacy of the family. Both have a son together, named Ved Krishna.
