Earlier in the morning, Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani were injured while they were bounding out of the airport. Both were returning from Dubai where they were to attend the 2018 Asiavision Movie Awards taking place on Saturday night. Ranveer returned home as winner of the Best Actor Award for his performance of Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat.
Kiara Advani won the New Star Award at the annual awards ceremony for Indian film artists. Ranveer Singh also took a photo with one of his fans before the event. Look at their photos and videos below.
While the award for best actor in a negative role was awarded to another actor Padmaavat Jim Sarbh, the selection of critics for Best Actor was Ayushmann Khurrana for Badhaai Ho ] and Andhadhun. Khatta Meetha Actress Trisha Krishnan won the Best Actress Award of the Decade.
According to International Business Times, the who's who of South Indian cinema was seen to be bonding to A-listers of B-ville. Raanjhana the actor Dhanush was also present and won the award for best actor (critics) for his performance in Vada Chennai / Mari 2. The star viewers would have enjoyed themselves together at the Starry Gala Night where Manju Warrier, Thomas Tovino, Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Lekshmi were also present.
