In the meantime, the fourth installment of the film has already been announced for 2021. "You've served, you'll be in. John Wick: Chapter 4 is coming – May 21, 2021," reported Variety. However, no other details have been revealed by the Hollywood studio.
John Wick's first film was released in 2014 and totaled only $ 90 million, while his sequel in 2017 had a life of $ 172 million. Parabellum is gaining momentum right after the events of John Wick's Chapter 2, where Reeves is looking for partners to help him survive the $ 14 million international contract.
Directed by Chad Stahelski and written by Derek Kolstad, Asia Kate Dillon as a referee, Mark Dacascos for Zero and Halle Berry for Sofia are the new entrants in the film series, while Laurence Fishburne as Bowery King, Sir Ian McShane Winston and Lance Reddick as Charon have taken over their roles from previous films.
Last year, it was announced that the studio and Starz were developing a television show called The Continental, whose executive producers include both franchise director John Wick, Chad Stahelski and Reeves.
