The Audio Books Service of Amazon, Audible is perhaps extremely popular in the United States, but it took some time for the e-commerce giant to introduce it in India.

The service offers audiobooks of Indian and international authors in various categories, including fiction, science fiction, fantasy, romance, mystery, young adult, spirituality, biographies, business and personal development. There is also a dedicated section, Audible Originals, which offers audio books created by storytellers exclusively for the service and produced by Audible Studios.
Users who subscribe to this service for the first time are also offered a free 30-day trial, while primary users are offered up to 3 months of free trial as well that free credits to buy up to 2 audiobooks without any cost. Individual subscription packages of one month, six months and 12 months are offered at introductory prices of 299, 1345 and 2332 respectively.

However, as stated in the report, you must pay for the service, according to your choice. On the one hand, standalone subscriptions can only be purchased with credit cards, debit cards and online banking, while monthly recurring subscriptions can only be purchased with debit and credit cards. Unlike other purchases on Amazon, there is no payment option via UPI or Amazon Pay yet. As the service is in the beta phase, other payment options could be added later.
