Apple iPhones in 2020 could move away from Intel 's moving parts for communications, says a new report. The report had previously said that Apple could abandon Intel's 5G modem for its 2020 iPhones, although this was denied. The latest reports come from the Israeli site CTech de Calcalist which quotes several sources, documents for that. It seems that the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth component will not be used in future iPhones.
The report also notes that Intel executives saw Apple as the leading mobile client, which would result in volumes for this particular product.
