Audi finally unveiled its long-awaited second-generation Q3 sub-compact crossover on Tuesday. The Q3 will be the entry-level crossover of the US luxury automaker lineup based in Ingolstadt, Germany, and will be below the recently awarded Q5, Q7 and Q8.
The new BMW X2 and the Mercedes-Benz GLA should also come into play.
In terms of size, the new Q3 will be 3.8 inches longer and 0.7 inches wider than the model. first generation that it replaces.
At launch, the Audi Q3 will be available with a quartet of turbocharged four-cylinder engines. The entry-level Q3s have a 1.5-liter unit and 150 horsepower.
