Netflix finally released the first trailer for Season 5 of Black Mirror. Netflix Original, which tells the appalling tales of technology in our everyday society, shocks us even more with three new episodes. This time, the show gets the help of Avengers: Anthony Mackie, star of Endgame, Batman v Superman: Scoot McNairy, star of Dawn of Justice, and international singer Miley Cyrus. The trailer gives fans a glimpse of three scary tales related to technology.
We see Scoot experiencing a public collapse with a weapon in his hand. Cops surround the actor, who sits in a car, while spectators record the entire incident. Another picture shows a teenager confiding in a robotic doll, while the new Captain America, aka Anthony, is seen cheating on his wife.
The surprising element of the trailer is Miley Cyrus, whom we see perform on stage. While little is revealed about her character in the three episode show, Variety reports that the singer interprets the role of an interpreter who has "undergone a transformation to achieve a higher level of fame" .
Besides Mackie, Cyrus and McNairy, the new season also sees Andrew Scott, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Topher Grace, Nicole Beharie and Angourie Rice in prominent roles. Watch the trailer below:
