BMW Motorrad has finally launched the HP4 Race in India, the most powerful production motorcycle of the company. Before you get your adrenaline rush, let us tell you that this bike is not meant to be used on public roads as it is made only for racing tracks. For this reason, the BMW HP4 Race does not have a headlight and taillight. In addition, the bike does not have room for the license plate either. The BMW HP4 Race was launched in India at a price of Rs 85 lakh and includes no road tax as it is a track bike. BMW Motorrad has chosen to keep it simple on the launch of its most capable production bike for India, as it has silently updated the prices of the HP4 Race on its official website. The newly launched BMW HP4 Race draws its power from a 999cc four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed transmission. This engine is good for losing 215 hp while the peak torque is 120 Nm. The transmission of the bike gets an anti-jump clutch for better control. With all these settings, the bike can reach a top speed of nearly 330 km / h.
The BMW HP4 Race was designed with intensive use of carbon fiber that resulted in significant weight loss. To be precise, the empty weight of the bike is only 171 kg. Yes, you read correctly! As they say with great power comes a great responsibility, the new BMW HP4 Race is offered with 320mm Brembo dual disc brakes at the front with a single 220mm disc at the rear.
The BMW HP4 Race is a limited edition model model with only 750 units produced worldwide. As far as India is concerned, it is currently a mystery as to how much has been allocated to our market. In case you can afford it, we advise you to be very fast before the stock runs out in India.
