In an effort to compete with Reliance Jio GigaFiber BSNL reorganized its home-based fiber optic (FTTH) plans by increasing its FUP limits by almost four times for four of its broadband services in all circles.
The Rs 3.999 plan will now offer 500GB of FUP data with a download speed of 50mbps, compared to 300GB at 20mbps. Once the FUP limit is exhausted, the download speed will drop to 4Mbps.
The second plan, Rs 5,999, will now offer 1000GB FUP data per month at 60mbps, compared to 400GB FUP data at 30mbps. Once the FUP limit is exhausted, the download speed will drop to 4Mbps.
The third plan, for Rs 9,999, will now offer 2TB of FUP data at 80mbps, compared to the FUP limit of 600GB at 50mbps. Once the FUP limit is exhausted, the download speed will drop to 6Mbps
Finally, the Rs 16,999 plan will now offer 3 TB FUP data at 100mbps, compared to 800GB FUP data at 100mbps. Once the FUP limit is exhausted, the download speed will drop to 4 Mbps, respectively.
Recently, BSNL also increased the FUP limit on its FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) premium plans in Chennai. . With the new update, BSNL now offers a data limit of 1.5 TB on the Rs 4999 plane, compared to the limit of 1 TB of data. Once the data limit is complete, the speed will be reduced to 2mbps.
The 999 FTTH FTs plan will offer a speed of 60mbps with 250GB of data while the Rs 1,299, Rs 1,699, Rs 1,999 and Rs 2,999 will offer up to 80mbps download and download speed. The plan of Rs 1.299 will offer 400GB FUP, the plan Rs 1.699 will offer 550GB FUP, the plan Rs 1.999 will offer 800GB FUP, and the plan Rs 2999 will offer 900GB FUP. After the end of the FUP limit, the speed will be reduced to 2mbps.
