DC Baramulla reviews arrangements for measles vaccination campaign

BARAMULLA: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr. Nasir Ahmad Naqash on Monday chaired a meeting of officers to review the arrangements for the launching of smooth Intersectoral Measles campaign, starting from September 1 to October 10.
On the occasion, Deputy CMO Dr. Jozy Basheer briefing the DC on the set of activities and programs that are being scheduled during the period besides underlining its objectives.
She said various outreach programs will be organized as sensitization and awareness programs besides mobilizing Asha and Anganwari workers in educating the vulnerable section of the society.
She said about 343480 children in the age group of 9 months to 15 years, enrolled in various schools, maqtabs, darul ulooms etc. will be given special immunization treatment so that the vulnerability is drastically mitigated.
Deputy Commissioner while highlighting the significance of the program overall success of the campaign. He said that it should be included in the program and that it should be included in the program.
